Mark Fellows: New career paths for auto industry
mlive.com – Mar 27, 2008
It’s another take on a subject I wrote about a few weeks ago, the capacity of old-line industries to reinvent themselves for the markets of the future. Center for Automotive Research staffers Kristin Dziczek and Bernard Swiecki, speaking to the Tri-County Economic Club, noted that the Ann Arbor-based industry analyst company predicts the Detroit Three automakers will hire 77,200 workers by 2016.
