As Private Industry Council president, Ferrero manages an organization that connects qualified job-seekers with local employers. He oversees a staff of 11 in four locations: the Estrella Career Center and North County Learning Center in Paso Robles; Creekside Career Center in San Luis Obispo; and the Lopez Learning Center in Nipomo. Ferrero joined the Private Industry Council in 1987.
