Spherion Survey: Employee Confidence Index Drops to New Low

The
Index, which measures workers’ confidence in their personal employment
situation and optimism in the macroeconomic environment, reveals that fewer
workers are optimistic about the strength of the economy, the number of jobs
available and their own ability to find new positions. At the same time, the
number of workers reporting confidence in the future of their employer
increased slightly. Details of the Index:

It is the only one-stop center in the eastern or southeast Louisville. The city of Jeffersontown donated the house that will be used as the center. “We are excited to have KentuckianaWorks as another workforce partner in our community and a critical resource for Jeffersontown area residents who are looking for employment and job training opportunities, and where our employers can turn to find qualified candidates,” Foreman said in a news release.

Pierlot said every Canadian should be given a lifetime retirement-plan accumulation limit in the area of $1 million, and that includes RRSPs and all pension plans, whether they are defined contributions or defined benefits. He said the $1-million figure is in the mid-range of what a typical public-sector worker accumulates in their pension plans during a career – and in many cases, it is much more. Because people’s ability to put money into retirement plans changes from year to year, Pierlot said there should be no annual limits to contributions.
