Here is another scenario: Unemployment benefits are issued on a four-day-a-week basis. This is merely for calculation purposes and has nothing to do with the new Presidential administration or how much you receive. What you receive is based on employment salary history. When you qualify for your weekly benefit (online or by phone) you will be asked if you worked any of the days during the week. ther questions include whether you received vacation or holiday pay and whether or not you were available and willing to work. If you worked more than four days you will not receive a weekly benefit for that week. It does not matter what you earned within that four days.
